Great list! The Fault in our stars is lovely but I was sooo moved by The Glass Castle! x

    • http://www.kayliwanders.com/ Kayli Schattner

The Glass Castle was simply fantastic! Half Broke Horses is by the same writer…very good!

  • http://clubnarwhal.blogspot.com/ Amy | Club Narwhal

Love this, Kayli! I stayed up way past my bed time the other night inhaling The Fault in Our Stars. Tissue central :)

    • http://www.kayliwanders.com/ Kayli Schattner

Me too!! I read it all in one night. When I started crying my boyfriend tried consoling me but I yelled at him and told me to let me just have a moment…seriously overly emotional! ;p

  • http://clothesandquotes.blogspot.com/ shannon

The Glass Castle is my absolute favorite book of all time! Everyone should read that! I read both Prep and Freewheelin’ Time, but I don’t really remember them…maybe I should reread :)

  • http://megancstroup.blogspot.com/ Megan C. Stroup

I’ve only actually read two of these (The Glass Castle and The Fault in Our Stars). Which of the others is your favorite? I need to add it to my list! :)

    • http://www.kayliwanders.com/ Kayli Schattner

Those are such good choices! I’d have to say choose between either The Paris Wife or Half Broke Horses…but it really depends on what you’re looking for! I really liked The Paris Wife because I’m into Hemingway and Half Broke Horses was by the same author as The Glass Castle (which I loved!)

      • http://megancstroup.blogspot.com/ Megan C. Stroup

Thanks! I think I’ll read The Paris Wife next – I love historical fiction, and I actually didn’t really care for The Glass Castle (eek! I know! I feel like I’m the only reader in the whole world who didn’t like that book haha). Can’t wait!

I had to read The Glass Castle for school a long time ago, but I don’t remember anything about it, so I’ll definitely have to take it off the shelf and re-read!
